2024

PVA offers 2 Pre-school classes, Kind and Level 1 thru 5; 175 students attend; The Donna Gunn Dorm, 10 Teacher housing units, fence and infrastructure construction is completed; in Feb., 9 USA volunteers stay at school for 10 days to do maintenance work--6 of the 9 are USA trained teachers and they assist Tz teachers in new teaching concepts; Zoom Montessori trainings continue; PVA hires local dietician that with USA Volunteer dietician will develop best meal plan to help minimize malnutrition.

2023

PVA offers 2 Pre-school classes, Kind and Level 1 thru 4; 160 students attend; All students in Level 4 take National Exams and score in the top 10% for rural Tz. Schools; 160 students attend PVA; BGU EWB sends second mission to PVA for follow up; BGU EWB weighs and measures all children which discloses wasting and malnutrition (5 students are in normal range; 63 students show malnutrition and stunted growth; 90 students are underweight and at risk of falling into malnutrition & stunted growth category; computers lab count increases to 25; Construction begins on 200 person dorm, 10 new teacher housing units, fence enclosure, plus other infrastructure projects; USA Montessori teachers begin working via Zoom with PVA Teachers and training them on Montessori teaching;

2022

PVA offers 2 Pre-school classes, Kind and Level 1 thru 3; 135 students attend; The Richard & Sandy Jackson Library with 7,000 English books, meeting area, + 25 unit computer lab with internet is completed and dedicated in June 2022; over 700 locals and guests attend dedication; ; 4 classrooms are built plus additional male/female toilets are added; as a result of the development of a Long Term Plan

PVA-USA begins $545,000 capital campaign for dorm and other needs; PVA hires independent Tz Accountant to do budget & institute financial controls

2021

PVA offers 2 Pre-school classes, Kind and Level 1 & 2, more students attend; Library with 7,000 English books, meeting area, + 25 unit computer lab with internet is built; Partnership with Ben Gurion Univ of Israel's Engineers without Borders (EWB) is formed and they visit region to assess water and crop cultivation; 10 acres are planted for crops to lower food costs + additional fruit trees are added to orchard; Construction starts on 4 additional classrooms; PVA-USA is formed as USA entity and gains 501c3 non-profit status.

2020

PVA offers 2 Pre-school classes, Kind and Level 1, more students attend. Deep Bore Hole Water Well is installed with clean water; Children are fed 2 meals + snack (they get no other food at home)

2019

PVA opens with 4 classrooms, a dining hall, 22 students, male/female toilets, staff of 7, Pre-school, Kindergarten is offered; Greenhouse is installed + fruit trees; chickens are added for meat and eggs.

2018

Massai Tribes within 6 villages located approx. 90 miles south of Arusha, Tanzania, assign, for 66 years, approx. 50 acres of land where a non-sectarian, English primary school will be built. Liberate NGO Africa Children's Foundation is formed to serve the school; constuction begins at the school;
